November prayer points.
This November we will be praying for our children.
We advise you to read our prayer guidance before you begin interceding.
Prayer guidance:
- Pray in faith and not in fear (1 John 4-5).
- Believe in Jesus Christ and his victory at the cross (John 12: 31).
- Remember, that it is through our Lord Jesus Christ we obtain victory in prayer (1 Corinthians 15:57).
- Trust in God's power and his ability to divinely intervene in your child's life (1 Samuel 17:47).
- Always pray in the Holy Spirit to build up your innermost faith (Jude 1:20).
- Spend time in praise and worship before interceding for the child (Psalm 100).
Prayer points for the unborn child in the womb (Psalm 139:13).
- Thank God for the blessing of the fruit of the womb (Deuteronomy 28:4).
- Cancel any legal rights the devil has over the unborn child by engaging the redeeming power of the blood of the lamb (Colossians 2:14).
- Intercept every abortive plan against the life of the unborn child, and overturn it, in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Pray against miscarriage. Pray that the Lord will deliver the unborn child from all forms of attacks of sickness and death, in Jesus name (Hosea 9:14).
- Rebuke the spirit of death that is seeking to devour the vulnerable child’s life (Matthew 2: 16-18).
- Pray for the health of the child’s mother. Pray against any assignment seeking to use the health of unborn child’s mother to attack the child’s life.
- Pray for prophetic midwives to be positioned in the hospital. Pray that the Lord will use them to help deliver unborn babies.
- Pray against complications in child birth. Children are a reward from God. Overturn this diabolical assignment by engaging God’s mercy (Psalm 127, Luke 6:36).
Prayer points for children.
- Pray that the Lord will fill the child with the Holy Spirit from an early age (Luke 1:41).
- Pray that the child will grow in wisdom and grace (2 Peter 3:18).
- Pray that the child will walk in a spirit of obedience after the word of God.
- Pray that the child will honour their father and mother in the Lord, so that they may receive God’s blessings (Exodus 20:12, Ephesians 6:2-3).
- Pray that the Lord will surround them with godly friends from an early age (Colossians 3:13).
- Pray that the manifestation of the fruit of the Spirit will be developed in their lives (Galatians 5:22-23).
- Pray for the mental health of the child. Pray that the child’s soul will withstand the mental attacks they will encounter in life (for instance: verbal abuse and unpleasant experiences).
- Pray that the Lord will help the child act justly in all that they do. They will chose to refuse to participate in gang crimes and senseless violence (Micah 6:8).
- Pray that the child will be alert and self- controlled. Pray that they will resist the snare to act upon sexual immoral choices ( 1 Thessalonians 5:6).
